What does your customer really want?

TL;dr

It’s not your service. It’s not your product. It’s not your process.

They want the result.

The relief, the confidence, the time saved, the problem solved.

If your marketing is focused on what you do instead of what changes for them, you are missing the point they actually care about.

This video hits on one of the most common marketing blind spots I see.

Businesses love to talk about their services. Their products. Their proprietary process. Their features, steps, and how long they have been doing the thing.

And while all of that matters to you, it is not what your customer wakes up thinking about.

Customers are outcome-driven.

They want the result on the other side of the purchase. Less stress. More clarity. A problem off their plate. A win they can finally stop worrying about.

When your marketing leads with the mechanics instead of the meaning, you make people work too hard to connect the dots. And when people have to work to understand why they should care, they usually just keep scrolling.

The shift is simple, but powerful. Stop leading with what you do. Start leading with what changes for them.

Put your product or service in context of the result it delivers, and suddenly your message feels clearer, more relevant, and more compelling.

And when your marketing reflects that, everything clicks faster.
