We've all seen countless speakers throughout our careers--the good, the bad, and the SO BAD they are unmentionable... except-over-cocktails. As a speaker, my pet peeve is one-way lectures because even the best ones can't keep people off their phones these days. So many sessions are just too full of the same old thing delivered the same old way that they don't hold the attention of today's audiences.
Today, the ideal format is something that keeps attendees rapt with attention and off their phones. Something that's actually engaging. Something that included ALL FIVE of the top reasons people attend conferences: Content, Connections, Celebration, Collaboration, and motivation.

It didn't exist anywhere, so I built it!
It's a session format so unique that it keeps everyone off their phones and on their toes, excited, wondering what's next...because every 10-15 minutes, the format changes. Best of all - it doesn't require any special room setups or any extra work from you or your team. And it works for groups from 10 to 10,000 (or more!).

When you experience this session format in action, it's fast-paced, exhilarating, inspiring, full of high fives and applause for each other, fun, thought-provoking, and never dull. That's how this session format got its name.
So, what's it about?
All too often, we take great notes throughout a conference and have great intentions, but then we get back to the office and the notes get forgotten and we fall back into old routines. What a shame! This session format is the antidote to all of that.
What if your participants could not only just see and hear new concepts, but actually experience them unfolding while they co-create the outcome that's exactly tailored to their own unique needs? What if they took those concepts and created a blueprint to achieve them before they left the session? What if they then committed right then and there to taking their first action step immediately after the conference, and had other attendees holding them accountable to get it done within 30 days? Just imagine what could happen.
In short, Shawna delivers her sessions in this unique format to give audiences what they truly crave: real engagement beyond just 'talk to your neighbor about this for a minute'. Shawna kicks off her sessions as you would expect: sharing her research and insights (the 'WHAT' and 'WHY'). Then, passive attendees become active participants with Shawna as their guide. She leads them through unique exercises where they're up and moving about the room (no zoning out on phones!), and talking with new people (not just sitting with who they already know). They're having vibrant small group conversations around what they're learning, as they're learning. We know that retention is at its best when we talk with others about concepts and how to apply them (the 'HOW' and 'WHEN'). We also know we're more likely to take action when others are holding us accountable.
Just imagine what they'll say about how your conference changed them. That's what this keynote format is about.
