“My why” is to bridge the gap between buyers and customers to make the buying process easier for everyone.
My story is I used to be a buyer and I was on the other side. Now I am sharing my expertise, knowledge and research to make the whole sales process easier.
I use my wit, humor to spread the message as I travel the world, as I post, tweet and write these blogs.
My photos vary – of me among penguins, wearing unicorn t-shirts, or with other professional women speakers. I love photos of dogs and cats. Or any animal for that matter.
That is Shawna Suckow, The Buyer Insider.
What is yours? What is your why? What is your story?
I am not asking you these questions like Simon Sinek. (the guy that has written and spoken about Find Your Why.) Let’s keep it simple.
It really comes down to who I am, what makes me alive (or makes me laugh) and why I do what I do – day in and day out. There is a story behind it. If you’re struggling with your personal brand – trying to define it. It does not have to be complicated. You may be making a mountain out of a molehill.
What is the one thing that most people say about you? Why do your raving fans go to you? Where is it that you add the greatest value? We tend to undervalue our strengths, skills and expertise that we have acquired over time.
Then the next question is purpose. Why do you do what you do day in and day out? Why did you choose this industry or business? What is it that you enjoy the most at your job or business?
Asking yourself these questions and using real words to define you – you’ll have your own authentic brand that moves your career or business forward – in no time.
