That is sending video e-mail messages – there are several apps out there for you to check out (my favorite is BombBomb).
Video e-mail looks and acts different in the buyer’s mind. It comes into their regular e-mail inbox, but the first three seconds of your video play and replay, like a gif. They see your face, which is way more engaging than all the textual emails they’re receiving. I use a dry-erase board from the dollar store to write their name, so they realize this is just for them. On the back end, I can see exactly when they opened it, and how often they have viewed it (for example, if they shared it with others).
Look for a video e-mail tool with a free trial so you can be sure it’s for you. Also be sure you can use it from any device, and so can your recipient. Then go for it! Get comfortable with it, because it WORKS. According to BombBomb, their users report 81% more effectiveness using video e-mail! That’s huge in today’s cluttered world of e-mail overload.

According to Forbes Insights, 60% of business respondents said that they would watch a video on a web page before reading any text at all, and afterwards 65% said they would end up visiting the website. Then Google surveyed buyers and found that 70% of B2B buyers are watching videos through their entire path to purchase, and 48% are watching more than 30 minutes of video!
Buyers want video – this is your opportunity to stand out. It is time to start using video e-mail. Keep it interesting, fun and engaging. Or geeky, and quirky. Just be you and be consistent.
